Gesture Drawings from Class

These are 3 minute gesture drawings from my figure invention class. We were told to really focus on movement and making dynamic poses.

I need to remember not to compare my work to others so much, and just focus on making progress at my own pace. It can be maddening comparing your work to others because  you get frustrated and wonder, well why aren't I as good as X person? I think, the simple answer to that question is, well, X person probably has more drawing mileage than you, so instead of worrying about it, how about you start drawing
so you can catch up to them!
