For Karl's head, hands and feet class. Posted these so I can track my progress from week 1 to week 12. Today we had the always hilarious Johnathan Cripple. Its really hard to keep a straight face when drawing him...as you can see below...

Winter drifter / summer soldier
Working on a series. Ok so I haven't worked out the title of it completely yet, but its something like that. These are my two main characters (can you guess who is who?). Working on model sheets, and episode treatments(!). Right now the entire series is plotted out on cue cards on my living-room wall. I probably look like such a looney scrawling out all these cards and taping them to the wall, then re-arranging them endlessly, bud I don't care because its fun.

Karl's Fundamental Figure Drawing Class - Are we making progress?
A completely legit question asked by one of Karl's students. Sometimes its impossible to tell. It a tough subject to breach because I think often times people are anxious to see if they are making progress. My understanding of drawing is that its a craft and perfecting a craft can take years...And even then progress isn't guaranteed.
Here are a bunch of sketches from Karl's Thursday night Fundamental Figure Drawing class. Karl said the biggest thing I need to work on is structure. Its true. Most times, I get so carried away with all the playful flowing curves of the muscles and fat that I forget to add the points of articulation and bone structure to hang them on.
