The Shadow Side
I believe it was Carl Jung who pioneered the term "Shadow Side" of the personality. I can't take credit for this sketch. It was done based off of an illustration my friend Marco sent me a while ago, although sadly I never got the artist's name. So he/she created this terrifying HR Giger looking illustration that inspired me to make this drawing. I was thinking this could be a manifestation or visual representation of a person's shadow side.

ReplyDeleteReminds me of this folklore that we have back home about a lady who disguises herself as a sexy lady and leads men (gentleman callers) off a cliff when they are drunk and want to "go home with her". I kind of imagine just before she drives them off a cliff, she would look something like this :)
